MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT
Applied Science Department is one of the departments at FCK. The department has attracted a total of about 250 trainees yearly in various courses offered in the department. It has qualified trainers and technicians who have managed to offer their best for the success of the trainees in the department. The trainees undergo thorough training on both theory and practical related courses. In the last 5 years, it has produced graduates in Food Technology most of whom are managers, supervisors and technicians who work in various food industries including tea, sugar and dairy. A good number of the graduates are also self-employed having started their own businesses where they earn a living.
