The Business Studies Department works in collaboration with the other departments in order to provide, promote and coordinate the provision of quality education, training and research for the empowerment of individuals to become responsible and competent citizens who value education as a lifelong process for sustainable development.
The Department is divided into two sections: The Business Studies Section and The Development Studies Section in order to facilitate efficient and quality service delivery to our stakeholders.

|1.||Accountancy||To provide trainees with sufficient knowledge and skills to perform competently and with minor supervision, the accounting functions in salaried, charitable or self-employment in the dynamic environment.|
|2.||Business Management||To equip the trainee with relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable him or her to perform administrative duties as a middle level manager in an organization.|
|3.||Human Resource Mgt||To equip the trainee on the role of Human resource in the achievement of the organizational goal and to apply the principles of human resource management in an organization.|
|4.||Social Work & Community Development||To equip the trainees with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to assess and apply curative, preventive and developmental intervention measures into social situations.|
|5.||Supply Chain Management||To equip the trainee with relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable him or her to perform supply chain management functions as a middle level manager in salaried or self-employed organizations.|
All the above courses have an integration of Entrepreneurship, Communication Skills, Life Skills and Information Communication Technology to enable the trainee envisions self-employment and technological advancement.
