Cosmetology is the study and application of beauty treatments, including hair styling, skin care, cosmetics, manicures/pedicures, and permanent or non-permanent hair removal. Trainees in this field study a wide range of beauty treatments or specialize in a specific area
There are plenty of career choices for qualified cosmetologists, including barber, hair color specialist, skin care consultants, while others move into more technical professions like aesthetics.
