Message from the Office of the Registrar
The college offers training that is in line with the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) in the main areas; Agricultural Transformation and Inclusive Growth: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Housing and Settlement, Digital Superhighway and Creative Industry. The college offers the skills and knowledge through Agriculture and Environmental Studies, Applied Sciences, Business Studies, Liberal Studies, Building and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics (power option) Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Computing (ICT) and Informatics, Health Sciences and Hospitality (Cosmetology, Fashion and Design, Food and Beverage and Catering and accommodation) Departments.
We offer courses in Competency Based Education training (CBET) in levels 3 to 6 across all the above mentioned departments. There are also courses approved by NITA(National Industrial Training Authority) for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Examining bodies are CDACC, NITA, KNEC and KASNEB.
This Office is critical to the vitality of the academic programs and the success of trainees. The office of the registrar is tasked with ensuring the integrity of student records, interpreting and enforcing academic policies, and providing outstanding student services. The office also handles student admissions; collaborates with the Academics office in curriculum implementation; collaborates with the Examination office in ratification of examinations, organizing academic fairs and coordinates research and innovation initiatives.
